Alia Bhatt Confirms Starring With Ram Charan In SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Ajay Devgn Too Joins The Film

After a round of speculations, here comes the confirmation from the actress herself. SS Rajamouli’s RRR will star Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in it

Alia Bhatt Confirms Starring With Ram Charan In SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Ajay Devgn Too Joins The Film
After delivering the superhit Baahubali series, notable director SS Rajamouli is all set to surprise his fans with his forthcoming magnum opus, RRR which is a follow-up of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, starring Ram Charan and Junior NTR. The cherry on the cake is B-Town actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn have been roped in to play prominent roles in the film. RRR is going to be a larger than life movie with grandeur sets and classic elements. Earlier, speculations were rife that Alia Bhatt or/and Parineeti Chopra may bag a pivotal role in the film. Now, the makers have the cast of the film in place. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are set to make their Tollywood debut with RRR.

The official social media handle of the film welcomed Alia Bhatt and wrote, “Welcome aboard, @aliaa08! We are glad to have you play the female lead in our film. Happy Birthday in advance and hope you will have a wonderful journey with us..:) #RRRPressMeet #RRR @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 #RamCharan @dvvmovies @RRRMovie”

Thanking them, Alia replied, “Today I feel truly truly grateful.. Cannot wait to begin this beautiful journey with this stellar cast and massive team.. thank you @ssrajamouli sir for giving me this opportunity to be directed by you... #RRRPressMeet”

The makers also confirmed that Ajay Devgn will be seen playing an important role in the film. The tweet read, “@ajaydevgn Sir, we are grateful to have you on the board. It's a pleasure that you play a prominent role in the film. Can't wait! #RRRPressMeet #RRR @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 #RamCharan @dvvmovies @RRRMovie"


Announcing the release date of RRR, they tweeted, “July 30th, 2020… RRR... In theatres, Worldwide!!! In Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and other Indian languages simultaneously. An @ssrajamouli Film…”

At the press meet, Rajamouli said, “I’m really glad both of them instantly agreed to be part of this project. When I sent Ajay a text that I would like to meet and pitch an idea, he immediately made time to meet. He got really excited after hearing the idea and instantly worked out his dates for this project. Ajay will be seen playing a very important role in the flashback episode.”
